The first book is called Genoration Dead, by Daniel Waters. It was a good book, I'd give it a B+. I plan on reading the second book called "Kiss of Life".
Phoebe is just your typical goth girl with a crush. He's strong silent.and dead. All over the country a strange phenomenon is happening. Some teenagers who die, aren't staying dead. They are coming back to life but they are no longer the same-they stutter, and their reactions to things are slower. Termed "Living impaired" or "Differently biotic". They are doing their best to fit into a society that dosen't want them.Fitting in is hard enough when you don't have the look or attitude, but when almost everyone else is alive and you're not, it's close to impossible. The kids at Oakdale High don't want to take classes or eat in the cafeteria next to someone who isn't breating. And there are no laws that exist to protect the differently biotic from the people who want them to dissapear-for good. With her pale skin and Goth wardrobe, Phoebe has never run with the popular crowd. But no one can beleive it when she falls for Tommy Williams, the leader of the Dead Kids. Not her bestfriend Margi, whose fear of differently biotic is deeply rooted with the past. Nor her neighbor Adam, the star of the football team. Adam has just realized his feelings for Phoebe run much deeper than just friendship. He would do anything for her, but what if protecting Tommy is the one thing that would make her happy?
The second book is called Madapple, I didn't think this book would be that good, but it's one of my favorite books so far. I'd definitly give it an A+.
The Secrets of the past meets the shocks of the present. Aslaug is an unusual young women. Her mother has brought her up in near isolation, teaching her about plants and nature and language-but not abot life. Especially not how she came to have her own life. And who her father might be. When Aslaug mother dies unexpectedly, everthing changs. For Aslaug is a suspect in her mother's death. And the more her story unravels, the more questions unfold. About the nature of Aslaug's birth, and what she should do next. About whether divine miracles have truly happened. And whether, when all other explanations are impossible, they might still happen this very day. This book is Addictive, but provoking, and shocking.
The third book is called Stealing Heaven. This book was great, sad, and very interesting. It would definitly earn an A.
"My name is Danielle, I'm eighteen. I've been stealing things for as long as I can remember". Dani has been trained as a theif by the best_her mother. Together, the move from town to town, targeting wealthy homes and making a living by stealing antique silver. They never stay in one place long enough to make real connections, real friends-a real life. In the beach town of Heaven, though everything changes. For the first time, Dani starts to feel at home. She's making friends and has even met a gut. But those people can never know the real Dani-because of who she is. When it turns out that her new friend lives in the house they've targeted for their next job and the cute guy is a cop. Dani must question where her loyalty lies, withe the life she's always known-or the one sh's always wanted.
The last book is called Wherever Nina Lies. This book is also one of my favorites. I'd give it an A+. But sad at times.
Nina was beautiful, artistic, wild...and adored by her younger sister Ellie. But one day, without any warning Nina disappeard. Two years later, Ellei can't stop thinking about her sister. Although everyone esse has given up hope that Nina will return, Ellei just knows sh's out there, somewhere. If only Ellie had a clue where to look. And then she gets one in the form of a mysterious drawng tucked into the pages of a book. Determined to find her sister, Ellie takes off on a crazy, sexy, cross-country road trip. With the one person who beleives she's got a chance--her hot adventerous new crush. Although on the way Ellie finds a few things she wasn't planning on. Like love. Mysteries. Lies. And something far more shocking--the truth.
Check out the next blog in two weeks. Enjoy.
